Sifnos Municipality under the auspices of EAS SEGAS Cyclades, organize the 1st Road Struggle in Sifnos under the name “Sifnos Run”.
Race is part of the events “MARATHON TEAM GREECE by MARIA POLYZOU”.

Sunday 30 April 2017 and start time 10:00 am
Start and End:
The port office of Sifnos in Kamares.
Races:
There will be three races: one with a distance of 10 km, one with a distance of 5 km and a children’s (up to 12 years) race 1,000 m.
Participation right:
They are eligible to participate:
– at 5 km all runners over 13 years old
– at 10 km all runners over 16 years old
– Children up to 12 years of age in the children’s race.
Participants up to 17 years of age require a responsible declaration-consent from their parents / guardians.
Entry fee:
10 € for the 10 and 5 km race.
Participation in the kid race is free of charge.
Electronic Timing – Results:
The electronic timing of the race on both routes, as well as the publication of the results, has been undertaken by an official timing company. For this reason all participating runners must wear their entry number with the built-in timer chip, which they receive from the secretariat.
Feed stations at 2.5 and 5 km and at the finish.
Awards – Prizes:
Prizes (medal and cup) are awarded to the three (3) first men and three (3) first women separately for the 10km and 5km.
All runners who finish will receive a commemorative medal. The Diploma of Participation will be able to get it electronically from the official website of the event: www.sifnosrun.gr
Game Completion Time Limit:
The 5-kilometer stop time limit is one hour and for 10 km is two hours.
