The idea of the “best beaches according to their own taste” really stood out to me, as it highlights the diverse preferences of travellers when it comes to coastal destinations. As someone who’s passionate about sustainable tourism, I think it’s essential to consider the environmental impact of our travel choices, especially when visiting sensitive ecosystems like those found in the Aegean region. I’ve noticed that many of the top-ranked beaches are also known for their excellent water quality, which is a crucial factor in preserving the delicate balance of these environments. The parallel between popular beaches and high water quality standards is something I’ve been thinking about because it seems that travellers are increasingly valuing destinations that not only offer beautiful scenery but also prioritize conservation and responsible practices. I wonder if the author has observed any shifts in traveller behavior towards more eco-friendly choices in recent years.
