Leonardo Kolymbia Resort Enters a New Era Following €20 Million Investment Completion

Leonardo Kolymbia Resort in Rhodes has been fully transformed into a state-of-the-art holiday destination, following the successful completion of Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean’s major renovation and expansion programme.

The total investment, implemented gradually over the past two years, reached €20 million and redefines the resort’s position in both the domestic and international tourism markets, introducing high-standard facilities and services. The newly upgraded resort is already welcoming guests from Greece and abroad, while recording particularly strong occupancy levels for the current tourism season — a clear indication of the market’s positive response to the new concept.

The resort’s extensive modernization plan was carried out in two phases, with the goal of fully enhancing the overall guest experience. The first phase, completed in 2025, focused on expanding the resort’s capacity through the construction of a new building and the addition of 30 rooms. At the same time, the wellness facilities underwent a complete transformation, including the full redesign of the gym and the creation of a brand-new, state-of-the-art Spa & Wellness Centre.

The second phase was completed in 2026 and included the complete renovation of all existing rooms, the full refurbishment of the swim-up pool, as well as a significant enhancement of the hotel’s culinary offering with the launch of two new à la carte restaurants — an Italian restaurant and a Steak House.
